AngeliaSendTM - On-Line Help - Configuration Options

When you click the "Options" button on the Campaign Send E-Mail Address Wizard toolbar, the Configuration Options dialog (example shown below) is displayed.  This dialog allows you to select processing options that may suit your particular operating requirements.

AngeliaSend - Configuration Options Dialog

The first option concerns the method AngeliaSend uses to actually submit your E-Mail to Outlook for transmission.  The normal (and default) behavior is to place a unique copy of your reference E-Mail message in the Outlook Outbox for each selected recipient - each of these E-Mails addressed to only a single recipient.  This means that if you are sending your message to 100 recipients, then 100 copies of the E-Mail message will be placed in the Outlook Outbox for processing - one for each selected recipient.

In certain circumstances, you may wish to transmit only a single copy of your E-Mail.  This is accomplished in AngeliaSend by selecting the "Send a single E-Mail with all message addressees in Blind Copy" option in which a single copy of your E-Mail is placed in the Outlook Outbox with all of the selected recipients placed in the "bcc" portion of the address.  When this option has been selected, the caption on the "Send E-Mails" button on the Campaign Send E-Mail Address Wizard will be changed to "bcc Send".

The "To" portion of the address will be left blank unless the "For Blind Copy Send Use Reply E-Mail In To" is selected in which case the "To" address will be set using your E-Mail address.  Note that this option will only be enabled if the "Send a single E-Mail with all message addressees in Blind Copy" option is selected.  If the "To" address is left blank, then the actual appearance of the E-Mail that your recipients will see is determined by configuration of the SMTP server that distributes the message.  See the Tips And Tuning section in this documentation for more information.

The second option controls the behavior of the Duplicate E-Mail Address check function.  The normal (and default) behavior is to highlight any duplicate E-Mail addresses in the "Selected Contacts" list by color coding those contacts with identical E-Mail addresses.  This method allows you to decide how to handle each duplicate on a case by case basis.  However, if you check the "Dupe check automatically eliminates duplicate E-Mail addresses" option then AngeliaSend will remove all duplicate E-Mail addresses in the "Selected Contacts" list.  When this option has been selected the caption on the "Show Dupes" button on the Campaign Send E-Mail Address Wizard will be changed to "Dedupe List".
