AngeliaSendTM - On-Line Help - Folder Descriptions

When AngeliaSend starts up for the first time, it creates a set of Outlook folders that it will use for all of its information storage requirements.  If you have more than one Outlook Profile, then each Profile will have its own AngeliaSend folder tree.

The top level folder of the group, named "AngeliaSend Folders", is created directly under the "Personal Folders" root for the current profile.  This folder is used to store various AngeliaSend data files such as Campaign Name History, Opt Out Contacts, and any Saved Settings files that you may create.  These files are only accessed by AngeliaSend and are not otherwise visible.  When you select the "AngeliaSend Folders" folder in the Outlook Explorer display, you will see a screen like that shown below.

AngeliaSend Root Folder Outlook Display

The "Campaign Sent Items" folder is located directly beneath "AngeliaSend Folders".  Any E-Mails sent using AngeliaSend's Campaign Send E-Mail Address Wizard will be stored in the "Campaign Sent Items" folder.  This folder has its own special display format controlled by AngeliaSend.  For more information see the Campaign Sent Items Folder section elsewhere in this documentation.

The "Opt Out Request E-Mails" folder is also located directly beneath "AngeliaSend Folders" and is the repository for E-Mails from those recipients that want to be removed from future mailings.  This is a normal Outlook folder, and its display and functionality is handled by Outlook.  For more information on using this folder see the Managing Opt Outs section elsewhere in this documentation.

Beneath the "Campaign Sent Items" folder is the "Lost And Found" folder.  Since both the "AngeliaSend Folders" and "Campaign Sent Items" folders do not support normal Outlook functionality, any item that ends up in either of these folders is no longer accessible.  To resolve this problem, any time that AngeliaSend finds an item that does not belong to AngeliaSend in either "AngeliaSend Folders" or "Campaign Sent Items", that item will be moved to the "Lost And Found Items" folder.  The "Lost And Found Items" folder supports normal Outlook display and functionality.
